Thanks to the generosity of individual donors and a $1.5 million grant from
the City of Philadelphia – secured by Councilman Mark Squilla – the first
phase of restoring the historic Head House and Shambles is now underway.
The project is expected to be completed by early summer.
On April 22nd, we will thank the City and our donors for making this first
phase of renovation possible, while sharing how the community can support
even more improvements to ensure the future of the Head House and
Shambles as a vibrant community hub.
