Dear Prince Families:

Our preparations for the arrival of Hurricane Helene include a change to our homecoming schedule. Our revised plan appears below and is contingent upon us having power on campus Saturday morning.

  • Friday night’s home football game is moved to Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  We will NOT introduce our homecoming court at this Saturday game; that event will be held on October 18th.
  • Saturday night’s homecoming dance will still occur and will start at 8:00 p.m.
  • The Wolverine Growl is rescheduled for Friday morning, October 18th, and we will introduce our homecoming court at the home football game that evening.

If we are without power Saturday morning and must postpone the football game or dance, we will send an email, send a parent alert text message, and post that information on our school’s website by 8:00 Saturday morning. We are using these three communication methods since we are uncertain if power and or cell (tower) service will be interrupted.

Earlier this morning, we sent a separate email to lower and middle school parents asking everyone to pick up their children today at regular dismissal time. If you cannot go without childcare, we will have a small number of after-school counselors who will stay until you can pick up your child.

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we prepare for the arrival of this powerful storm.

In His service,

Col Seth Hathaway, Ed.D.
