Dear VCHS Parents,
I’m excited to announce the pre-launch of 5 Days | 5 Reasons, this year’s fundraising blitz supporting our school’s All Saints Fund. Gifts to the All Saints Fund help fill the 7.2% gap ($275,000) between what families pay in tuition and the total cost to educate VCHS students this school year. The campaign will run next week (November 6-10).
This year’s 5 Days | 5 Reasons motto is – Blessed! As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we are reminded of how God has blessed VCHS through the generosity of so many people over twenty-five years. When parents make a gift to VCHS, our students, faculty and school continue to be Blessed! Parent participation, regardless of gift size, is what matters most.
Monday | Day 1 | Reason 1 – Athletics
Support our student-athletes and their upcoming winter and spring seasons – Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, and Boys Volleyball.
Tuesday | Day 2 | Reason 2 – Academics
Support our ability to continually innovate and customize course offerings for our students, including helping us offer cutting-edge programs.
Wednesday | Day 3 | Reason 3 – Arts
Support our student-artists, including upcoming productions such as the Christmas Arts Celebration in December and Oliver! – the Spring Musical.
Thursday | Day 4 | Reason 4 – Facilities
Support helping us further enhance our amazing buildings and provide the most modern technology for campus safety.
Friday | Day 5 | Reason 5 – Faculty
Support the people who invest in our amazing students.
Each of the 5 days, you’ll receive a VCHS email with the day’s “reason.” Shortly after November 10th, we’ll recognize everyone’s participation through a 5 Days | 5 Reasons Parent Honor Roll. Although we don’t officially launch until November 6th, you don’t have to wait. Click here and make a gift today. If you’re unable to make a gift between the November 6-10 timeframe, feel free to make a pledge so that we can count your participation.
Our theme verse for Blessed! comes from Genesis 12:2 – I will bless you…so that you will be a blessing. Our prayer is that our students would be THAT blessing to the world.
God’s blessings on you,
Steve O’Neil
