Recovery Ministries of the Episcopal Church - The World's Wisdom

Recently I've been rereading THE WORLD'S WISDOM *and this sentence stood out to me: "Death...does not mean passing away and extinction of life, but returning home to the divine world...[it] is a passage into a new existence, the transition to a new and true life."

Advent: Quiet Day in a Hurried Season

facilitated by The Rev. Liz Embler-Beazley

Part of the 'Women Gather in Community' Series

Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for the birth of Jesus, a time of prayerful yearning for Emmanuel, “God with us.” And, it is often hard to find the quiet we need to open our hearts to receive what is longing to be born in us. This day will be about setting aside time for that kind of opening. Our facilitator is The Rev. Liz Embler-Beazley, Rector of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Hammond. All are welcome! Lunch provided.
