We started Leadership Chesterfield this year.  Leadership Chesterfield helps develop business and civic leaders of tomorrow.  This program will enhance and develop leaders for businesses and community leaders.  The program was a success for all participants.  A lot of them stated how they feel more comfortable in their role as a leader for their businesses by hearing from other business and community leaders of various styles. They completed the Insight Assessment to really get to know more about their style of leadership and personality traits.  The Chamber will offer this program for 4 weeks in the Spring and Fall.

The Chamber Women's Business Council meets every other month and focuses on empowering, uniting and inspiring women through business and community endeavors. Their first summer social will be at Billsburg Brewery on July 17 at 4:00pm.

Isle of Wight=Smithfield-Windsor Chamber
The Chamber recently launched their Young Professionals Program - Isle Connect - with May 29 as their first event date. The event was titled "Eats for 8," and the program will be an ongoing series as a part of the program. "Eats for 8" is a program where we bring in a distinguished guest/speaker (who is also a young professional) at one of our local hot spot restaurants. We open the event up to only 8 people so it is more of an intimate vibe. Guests pay one ticket price which covers appetizers, dinner, and 1 drink ticket...plus the opportunity to meet with our guest. The entire event is very informal. It really appears like a bunch a friends going out to dinner together instead of a professional business event. The first one of the series was held at Wharf Hill Brewing Co. and we SOLD OUT! Our special guests were Max and Casey Greenhood, owners of Rocket Bike Digital Marketing Agency.

Northern Virginia Chamber
