The Holiday season is almost here which brings a different type of busyness. Tests, decorating, parties, friends home from school, and more. Youth group can be the place to find that stability in the midst of holiday “instability.”
Ever wonder how everyone who goes to college affords it? Not all do. Read today’s article of interest on food and housing insecurity impact kids at college and how churches are helping to respond. How might we respond?

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday for regularly scheduled youth group at 4:30!
Youth Group!
One vital component of youth ministry is youth group. We gather weekly and as a group have games and then discuss a topic that is important to you (middle or high schooler). We end the evening with an ancient prayer service (Compline) in the sanctuary. We aspire to cultivate an atmosphere where all feel welcome and can be who they are called to be.
Wreaths Across America
The Sign-up genius is available for our annual Wreaths Across America event at Arlington National Cemetery on December 15th. Join us and other parts of the congregation as we honor those who have died by laying wreaths. It is a popular event and all are welcome.  Click here to sign up
Campus ministers respond to hungry, homeless college students
Yes, some college students struggle with basic needs such as hunger and shelter.

“If you don’t deal with the basic needs of young people, there’s no hope of getting them to any understanding of who God is, unless we are the hands and feet of Christ … and you do that through unconditional love, not through forcing dogma down their throats.”
