Medicare Assistance Program (MAP)

The Medicare Assistance Program (MAP) which encompasses the programs SMP, SHIP, and MIPPA, is a state-based program that offers local one-on-one counseling to Medicare eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers. Through outreach, counseling, and education, the MAP empowers and assists Medicare eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers to optimize access to affordable healthcare, to prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse and to apply for eligible cost savings programs.

The Nevada Statewide Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Coalition

The Nevada Statewide Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Coalition is here to offer support to growing families in our community. New Mama Care Kits are available for pregnant or recently postpartum moms in need of after birth supplies. These kits include wipes, pads, disposable underwear, hand sanitizer and resources available throughout the community. We also offer support through the Mommy Care Club and PMAD Program.

Engelstad Foundation Responsible Early Detection Program (R.E.D. Rose)
The R.E.D. Rose Program provides uninsured and underinsured women and men with access to breast health screenings, resource referrals, and treatment services. Financial assistance is available to individuals diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing treatment. Early detection is the best protection.

Let's Slow Down Dementia with Cognitive Stimulation Therapy

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy is an evidence-based group intervention for individuals with mild to moderate dementia that promotes cognitive function through integrating conversation, socialization, and physical activity.


Members will meet as a group twice a week, across 7 weeks. The sessions are structured and will

include a range of enjoyable activities providing stimulation for thinking, concentration and memory.

Helping Hands of Henderson
Helping Hands provides transportation and nutrition services to seniors in Henderson. These services allow Henderson residents over 60 years of age with lower incomes and the frail, elderly or disabled to maintain independence by remaining in their own homes.
