Healing Spirit Attachments with Holy Fire® Reiki

Hello Beautiful Soul,

The spiritual world and the physical world are constantly intermingling.

We are all made up of energy, so we can be vulnerable to positive and negative spiritual influences which play a role in our welfare. ​​​​

We have the divine right to be sovereign, and to not have anything attached to our minds and bodies.

Spiritual attachment refers to the phenomenon where a spirit or entity becomes connected to a person, potentially affecting their emotional, mental, or physical well-being.

Some spirits even believe they are helping the person they attach to, when they are not.

In other situations, a spirit may come to help a child or a person in crisis and remain present after they are no longer needed.

Regardless of a spirit's intent, spirit attachments will almost always cause problems.

They can cause physical weakness and illness, mental, emotional, and spiritual dysfunction, and make debilitating conditions even worse.

In an article entitled Holy Fire® Reiki and Spirit Release, Dr. Giancarlo Serra says,

"In the natural cycle of life and death, the spirit moves to the Light after it has left the body.

However, sometimes spirits become what is known as earthbound, because they cannot progress, as they remain mentally attached to the earth plane for various reasons such as unfinished business, traumatic death, anxiety for a loved one on Earth, fear of the Light, etc.

They may be referred to as ghosts, spirits or intelligent hauntings, but are generally thought to possess the same personality and traits as the person who has passed on.

Earthbound spirits are rarely malicious, most of the time they are just confused and looking for help.

They manifest in different ways: they may stay in houses or places, or they attach to a living person."

Part One:

Releasing the Spirit

The Holy Fire® Spirit Release method I use is an advanced Reiki technique, and is a two-part process.

It removes spirit attachments, energetic cords, and other unwanted energy, and it also heals the place where the spirit was attached, helping a person to regain control of their own sovereignty.

It is compassionate to both the client and the spirit.

People often have the idea that you're going to throw holy water at it, and do "battle" with it to extract it and cast it out, as seen in other types of spirit release techniques such as exorcism.

One of my teachers from the ICRT, Colleen Benelli, is a Reiki Master and Shaman, and has facilitated thousands of spirit releases herself.

I remember during a Holy Fire® III Reiki Master training with her, I was especially interested in the segment on dealing with spirit attachments.

The enormously valuable part was the way this potentially fearful subject was approached ... it was approached with love for the attached spirits.

Love is the most powerful healing force in existence.

Colleen explained that Holy Fire® Reiki energy is “more

powerful than any energy to which the attaching spirit

has access,” and that Holy Fire® “easily releases any attached spirit.”

She described the experience in this beautiful way:

"What happens in this technique, is the Divine Light comes in and shines on the spirit.

And it reveals the Light to the spirit itself.

In the majority of the spirit releases that I have done, they've lost sight of their own Light.

They don't know that they are kind of in limbo.

They are not intentionally causing harm.

So the spirit goes, because finally, here's the Light and the way to get home.

I have always and only seen spirits welcomed.

I have seen different beings that come for them in a lot of the work that I do.

So many of the people are Christian by nature.

Jesus will come for them, or Mother Mary will come for them.

Oftentimes their family members will come for them.

Sometimes their pets will come for them." 

In this specialist therapeutic approach, the grace of forgiveness and the power of God's love and healing flow into and around the attached spirit.

As it does this, it dissolves all cords and connectors, and sources of power, and all effects from the spirit in this life and all past lives.

The spirit can't come back out of the Light and reattach.

It helps them cross into the Light and go home to their loved ones.

Earthbound spirits are usually relieved to be helped to cross over where their loved ones are waiting to celebrate their arrival.

Part Two:

Healing where the Spirit was Attached

The part of the person where the spirit was attached can also be healed by Holy Fire® Reiki, thus preventing another unhealthy spirit from taking the place of the one that was released.

The aura is the energetic equivalent of our immune system.

A weak aura and energy field create vulnerabilities to spirit attachment that varies according to predisposition, health, and other circumstances. 

The reasons for spirit attachment often involve a person's

vulnerability, emotional and energetic state, or involvement in specific practices or traumatic events. 

Vulnerability to Spirit Attachments

Intense negative emotions:

States like depression, anxiety, grief, fear, or anger can

create an opening in a person's energy field, making them susceptible to attachment.

Earthbound spirits, for example, may be drawn to individuals who feel similarly.

Addictive behaviors:

Substance abuse and other addictions can weaken a person's energy and willpower, making them vulnerable to attachments.

Trauma:

Experiencing severe emotional or physical trauma, such as a major surgery, an abusive relationship, a car accident, or a near-death experience, can weaken a person's energetic defenses.

Ancestral and family ties:

Attachments can be linked to generational or family line

traumas.

These connections can manifest as recurring negative patterns in a family's health, relationships, and emotional struggles.

Energetic vulnerability:

Some people, such as those who are highly sensitive or

empathic, may be more open to picking up the emotional energies of others and, by extension, other entities.
