Medina Community Recreation Center once again received the Best of the Best Award for Best Community Rec Center and Best Summer Camp as well as being a finalist in the  Fitness/Workout Category. Thanks to all how
voted!

MEMORIAL POOL CLOSINGS
If Memorial Pool is closed or opening is delayed due to inclement weather, the information will be posted on the Medina Memorial Pool Facebook page. 
In addition, you can call the Front Desk of the Rec Center at 330-721-6901 or the Memorial Pool at 330-722-7099.









The Fall MCRC Program Brochure will be in
serted i n the Post  Newspapers on Sat ur day, Augus t 17. It features all the classes and activities offered September through December. It is also available at www.medinarec.org

The MCRC Operating Calendar does not correspond with the Medina City School District Calendar. The MCRC will remain open for business during school vacations, teacher in-service days, some holidays and snow/calamity days.

6 - Senior Guest Lecture Series - "Adventures around the Globe with Miles" Miles Reed, Adventurer, Photographer, Documentary Maker and Historian.
Most of us can't get enough of hearing about Miles' Adventures in the jungles and around the globe. His stories and photographs delight and entertain as he tells us about his journeys around the world. You will not want to miss this one! Lunch provided by Elmcroft of Medina.
27 - Senior Guest Lecture Series - "Irving Berlin - His Life and His Songs" Gene Kiefer, Historian
We all know that Irving Berlin was an amazing composer and gave us the musicals like "White Christmas" and "Annie Get Your Gun." But his talent reached far beyond what we have heard about. Gene will give a little insight into Irvin's many talents and life story. Lunch provided by Evergreen by Sanctuary.
