To rectors, vicars and priests in charge of congregations:

October 29 to November 16, 2018 is an important time period for health benefits annual enrollment for the calendar year 2019. All benefit-eligible employees participating in a medical plan will be receiving a post card from the Episcopal Church Medical Trust, a copy of which is linked.

Also linked are informational materials that you can provide your benefit-eligible employees.

The second link is the contact information for a Health Advocate who will be able to assist our benefit eligible employees in making a decision regarding changing health coverage for 2019, especially if they are enrolled in one of the Anthem BCBS plans that will no longer be offered next year.

Anthem Plans Migration gives you an overview of all the Anthem BCBS, EPO and PPO Plans that will no longer be offered next year and provides suggestions of possible plan to move to in 2019.

All Consumer Directed Health Plans under Anthem BCBS and Kaiser will remain the same. All 3 Kaiser plans currently being offered will not change as well. Only those enrolled in an Anthem EPO and current PPO plans will be affected. The majority of our members enrolled in an Anthem BCBS plan will need to change to a new plan next year.

The fourth link is the Health Plan Booklet for 2019 under the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles' Group Plan. It provides information regarding the different health plan offerings for 2019.
