Keeping You Current
 February 2014 Monthly Newsletter
Hi ,

We're a month into 2014, and true to form, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) continues to morph into a completely different organism from the one originally created. Numerous policy changes and updates have made it that much more important to review our communications.

It is critically important to us that our clients be up-to-date regarding ACA and its impact, and our Master the Maze of Health Care Reform webinar series has been the perfect medium for us to educate you about the most recent health care reform updates. We've reached Part 7 in our series, which will take place on Tuesday, February 18th at 9 AM for groups with fewer than 50 FTEs and 10:30 AM for groups with 50 or more FTEs. You can sign up for the webinars below.

Health care reform is on many people's minds right now, but we have many other events in the pipeline. Benefits Done Right is proud to be a sponsor of the first annual Positive Coaching Alliance of Sacramento Leadership Luncheon on Tuesday, March 4th at noon. The luncheon will feature former Major League Baseball player and manager Dusty Baker as its featured speaker. If you haven't already done so, you can purchase your tax-deductible ticket through this link.

In addition to the upcoming webinar and Leadership Luncheon, we've also added the full complement of Silvers HR workshops to our calendar. You will also find the next free quarterly meeting of the Northern California Worksite Wellness Committee (NCWWC) on our calendar. The meeting will take place at Sutter Health on Gateway Oaks Drive in Sacramento on Wednesday, March 5th, so save the date.

As always, it is a pleasure and a privilege to work with you, and you can count on us to keep you current as we sprint into 2014.

Best regards,

Public and Private Exchanges
What you need to know

Public and private exchanges are the new "buzzwords" for coverage effective in 2014, and they can be complicated to navigate. Private exchanges are designed to sell against public exchanges for small employers and are a draw for large employers to control costs. Click here to read Laurie's latest blog post and learn what you need to know about public and private exchanges.

Expect delays

Cory Harris in our individual department has been working diligently to ensure our individual clients are all covered in advance of the March 31st open enrollment end date for Covered California.
