COVID-19 Testing Available in Southwest Detroit
Any individual who lives in the zip codes 48209, 48210, and 48216 and is exhibiting symptoms can get tested for COVID-19, regardless of insurance status. Community Health and Social Services Center, Inc. (CHASS) is providing free testing to individuals in the southwest Detroit area, which has some of the lowest test rates in the city of Detroit.

Join Detroit community leaders at the Virtual Community-Campus Visit!
The University of Michigan Detroit Center is hosting a virtual event series in June that may be of interest. The goal is to highlight resources, support, and internship opportunities that can benefit community based organizations. They will be hosting four sessions that will be grounded in our current context of the COVID-19 emergency, offering participants an opportunity to explore the resources that are available to address rapid response needs.
