JRB FINANCIAL PULSE
May 2021 — Issue #44
A Word from the CEO

After reading last month's article on tax credits available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), I was contacted by a JRB participant. He reminded me that many in the JRB purchase health insurance through the Exchanges and encouraged us to report on the expanded income eligibility for subsidies included in the Act. The change makes many more people eligible for the subsidies. This includes clergy whose taxable income is reduced through parsonage benefits. While health benefits are not our expertise, we've prepared an article on this topic. Thanks for the suggestion!

This issue also continues our review of the JRB's investment options with an article on the international equity funds we offer. Learn more about the important role companies headquartered outside the U.S. play in a diversified portfolio and understand the investment strategy of the JRB's international funds.

As always, please contact us to discuss any aspect of your financial security. Send us an email with your question or call 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733).
