About the Program

Did you assume that “health” law is simply another way of describing medical malpractice litigation? Are you curious about the types of issues that “healthcare” lawyers frequently deal with? If so, this event is for you! Health law encompasses numerous types of clients, issues and disputes – from high stakes federal litigation between hospitals and the federal government regarding the Medicare program, to licensing matters before state agencies, to advising clients on how to structure complicated transactions without violating the criminal anti-kickback laws. Join healthcare lawyer John Mills for an introductory discussion of some of the current legal issues that commonly arise in the ever-changing, always busy world of health law.

This program is presented by the Healthcare Law section.

BHBA is seeking enthusiastic leaders for all sections. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, we encourage you to step forward or share this opportunity with them - www.bhba.org/section-leadership
