The 10,000-square-foot facility will cost about $9 million and is being financed by OakStar Bank in Springfield. Pulse Design Group, Kansas City, is the architect, and JE Dunn, Springfield, is the general contractor. The CMH Dialysis Center is expected to open in fall 2025.

Welcome Dr. Hiba Ibad to CMH

CMH welcomes Hiba Ibad, M.D., an orthopedic hand surgeon, to the CMH Orthopedic & Spine Center. She is board eligible in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Ibad attended medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Nov. 11: Lights of Remembrance

Hospice's annual Lights of Remembrance event is Monday, Nov. 11, from 5:15-6:30 p.m. at the Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center. Hosted by CMH Hospice staff, the evening will welcome the holiday season with musical entertainment and present special awards.
