CEO Update: Upgrading medical/surgical care in the hospital expansion

In this month’s CEO Update, learn about some of the upgrades to our medical/surgical unit as part of our hospital expansion. The new space will include 28 all-private rooms, larger layout per room and fully ADA-accessible bathrooms. We’re also adding advanced in-room technology such as bedside documentation and cardiac monitoring to enhance care and connection between staff and patients. Jenna Hicks, R.N., MBA, director of quality and population health at CMH, received the Missouri Hospital Association’s Visionary Leadership Award. Doctor James Liesen

Dr. James Liesen returns to CMH Pediatric Clinic

Pediatrician James Liesen, D.O., has returned to the CMH Pediatric Clinic. He has more than 25 years of experience as a pediatrician and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He also served as a medical officer with the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Liesen cares for children from birth through age 18. Call 417-777-2121 to make an appointment.

Dr. Schreiber shares Alzheimer’s progress on global stages

Curtis P. Schreiber, M.D., board certified neurologist and dementia specialist with Missouri Memory Center at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, recently shared his clinical experience using newly approved Alzheimer’s therapies in real-world practice with physicians in Australia, the Middle East and the United States.
