Auxiliary donates $62,000 to CMH Health Transit

CMH Auxiliary donated $62,000 to CMH Health Transit to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van to replace an aging fleet vehicle. The van can transport two wheelchairs and five other passengers at a time or one wheelchair and nine other passengers. Read the full news release.

Pathologist Prachi B. Raut, M.D. joins CMH medical staff

Prachi B. Raut, M.D., joins Craig Dunseth, M.D., in CMH Pathology Services. Dr. Raut attended medical school at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School/Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Minneapolis.

CMH pediatric rehabilitation has a new clinic name and location

CMH Outpatient Pediatric Therapy has a new name and location as of Monday, Sept. 8. Formerly located in Citizens Memorial Hospital, the CMH Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic is now at 2520 S. Springfield Ave., Bolivar.


Pediatric therapy helps children develop the skills they need to grow, learn and thrive. It can include physical, occupational and speech therapy, depending on each child’s needs. Therapists use play-based activities to improve movement, communication, daily living skills and overall development.
