The CMH Senior Health Fair will bring together local health experts, community resources, and activities focused on helping you stay healthy, active, and connected. Stop in at the Polk County Senior Health Center, 1850 W. Broadway St., between 10 a.m. and noon on Thursday, Nov. 13.
The event includes:
- Blood pressure checks
- Fall risk assessments
- Cognitive assessments
- Medicaid/Medicare information
- CMH Senior Fitness Center Open House

Dr. Lemons joins the CMH Heart Institute Clinic
Interventional cardiologist David J. Lemons, D.O., FSCAI, is accepting new patients at the CMH Heart Institute Clinic. Dr. Lemons brings nearly 10 years of experience in cardiology, having practiced at Hannibal Regional Medical Group in Hannibal and most recently at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska. Dr. Lemons specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adult patients through advanced interventional cardiology procedures.

CMH Medicare Advantage HMO Plan is now available
Citizens Memorial is participating in the CMH Medicare Advantage HMO plan starting Jan. 1, 2026. Anyone with Medicare who currently lives in Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory or Polk County may be eligible to join this Medicare Advantage plan during the Annual Election Period through Dec. 7. Diabetes Education
Tina Cloney, Ph.D., MSPH, RD, LDN, CDCES, CSSD, is the new diabetes educator at the CMH Endocrinology Center. She is board certified as a registered dietitian and nutritionist, a specialist in sports dietetics and a diabetes care and education specialist.

'The American Revolution' documentary premieres Nov. 16
CMH is a co-sponsor of "The American Revolution," the new six-part documentary from filmmaker Ken Burns, that is set to premiere on Sunday, Nov. 16, and air for six consecutive nights through Friday, Nov. 21, on PBS. The 12-hour documentary series looks at the founding of the United States and its eight-year War for Independence from Britain. Watch the show through Ozarks PBS online or on channel 21.1.
