Register Now for Heroes for Hospice

Register for the Heroes for Hospice 5K/10K by Friday, April 11, (that's today!) to receive a T-shirt! The race begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 3, beginning at the Bolivar Family Care Center parking lot, 1240 N. Butterfield Road. You can still register after April 11 but will not receive a T-shirt.

Community leaders in Cedar, Henry, Polk and St. Clair counties are working to address childcare shortages impacting families, local economies and businesses. Surveys for parents, employers and child care providers will help leaders understand current child care and early education needs.

Featured Easter Events

Parkview Health Care Facility, 119 W. Forest St., Bolivar: 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 12. Two Easter egg hunts - for ages 0-3 and ages 4-13. Also includes a petting zoo, coffee truck and Easter Bunny.

Community Springs Healthcare Facility, 507 E. Patricia St., El Dorado Springs: 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, on the front lawn. Three groups: 0-3, 4-7 and 8-10 years. Includes a golden egg with a special prize in each age group and a visit with the Easter Bunny.

Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility, 1523 S. Third St., Stockton: 9 a.m. Saturday, April 19, beginning with Easter Bunny pictures. The whistle blows at 9:45 a.m. Three groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-12 years with a golden egg prize for each group.
