Update

Greetings Health Science Educators,

The start of the new school year is fast approaching, and I know you have all the feelings right now: Excitement, anticipation, worry, stress, and everything in between. You are hopefully rested and rejuvenated to teach the next group of future health professionals. Please know you are appreciated and your work is valuable! Thank you for your commitment to the profession of education and your passion for the Health Science pathway.

Since my last newsletter, I have attended HOSA ILC as a staff member, been busy planning for VISION 2022, corresponding with industry partners, and reaching out to states that had questions regarding the Health Science Education Division.

I feel like my term has just started; yet, we will soon be interviewing two worthy candidates to take over as the Health Science Education vice president-elect. If you missed the deadline to run for that position, please know there are many other ways to serve your state, region and division. Please reach out if you want to be involved, and I will guide you on a leadership journey that is right for you!
