Family Gift Supports Georgetown’s Health Justice Alliance Over the Next Decade

A family foundation has gifted $1.5 million to Georgetown University to sustain the efforts of the Health Justice Alliance, Georgetown’s medical-legal partnership that is training future lawyers, physicians and nurses to collaboratively use the law as a tool to improve health and well-being at the patient, systems and population levels.

GUTS Bus Routes Changing January 10

Beginning January 10, select Rosslyn and Dupont Circle GUTS buses will drop off and pick up passengers at a new stop at Lombardi Circle. Rosslyn and Dupont Circle GUTS buses will either stop at the McDonough Bus Turnaround or Lombardi Circle, and buses will be labeled clearly with the designated stop. With the addition of the GUTS bus stop at Lombardi Circle, the mini shuttle that previously went from the McDonough Bus Turnaround to Lombardi Circle will no longer be in use.

The Georgetown Global Health Institute Student Fellows Program is an opportunity for talented undergraduate and graduate students to work with Georgetown faculty on research projects, as well as network with one another and scholars in the global health field. All full-time undergraduate and graduate students across schools are eligible to apply. Applications for the spring 2024 fellowship are due by 1:00 p.m. on January 18. Apply here.
