MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's “Pavilion Progress” newsletter features new images of the Verstandig Pavilion in preparation for its opening. The activation of the pavilion begins Dec.10 when patients will start being seen in the new emergency department. Beginning on Dec. 11, all surgeries will be performed in the new state-of-the-art operating rooms in the pavilion and inpatient units will begin being relocated to the pavilion. All inpatient unit moves expected to be complete by Dec. 12.
