Dear Patriot Students and Parents,

As I reflect on the first quarter, I am overwhelmed by the unquestionable strength and character of our community as we navigate this unique school year.

So much has changed in a short period of time.  Life in the midst of COVID-19 has sparked fear, frustration, and anxiety all around. It is easy for distractions, criticism, and stress to creep in, but the Archbishop Carroll community has shown great perseverance and strength.  Through collaboration and ingenuity, we are successfully confronting this pandemic together

Nothing is more important than ensuring the health and safety of our students, teachers, staff, and families.  As we enter the second quarter, things may appear to be going back to the "old normal." We need to remember we are moving forward in a new way, and we must keep up our efforts in order to maintain the success we've achieved.

During this long weekend, I remind you to continue to stay vigilant so that our community remains safe and healthy.  Please continue to wear masks, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, stay home when you do not feel well, and avoid gatherings.

By continuing to work together, we can be a model community that does not invite another spike in COVID-19 cases.

Please take the long weekend to catch up on work, while also finding time to enjoy a well-deserved break.

Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay healthy.
