2022 Spring Fitness Festival


Our 2022 Spring Fitness Festival, sponsored by Susan Joy Gabrielson, will take place at The Hartford at Liam E McGee Memorial Park in Hartford on Saturday, May 14th. The day will include fitness and nutrition education. Local programs, teams, and individuals are invited! It's a great opportunity to get in some extra fitness activity before Summer Games.


Event Schedule:

 9:30-10:00am Check in, Hydration Station, Jumbo Jenga

10:00-10:10am Welcome 

10:15-11:55am Walk and Fitness/Nutrition Stations

             Endurance

             Strength

             Flexibility/Balance

             Nutrition   

12:00-12:45pm Lunch

Zoom Room Meet and Greet Workout


All SOCT athletes are invited to join in a Meet and Greet Workout with Paige in the SOCT Zoom Room on Monday, May 9th at 7 p.m.!


Paige Bullock is our new Health and Wellness Coordinator and she's looking forward to meeting you! The event will kick-off with everyone introducing themselves, followed by a 30-minute workout led by Paige.

SOCT Fit 5 Fitness Activity Portal
In addition to the SOCT Fit 5 Facebook Group, Special Olympics Connecticut has developed an online portal where you can find all of the virtual fitness activities we have created. This portal will be updated regularly to help athletes to stay fit and active at home.
