Healthcare.gov Open Enrollment is underway!

It's time to enroll for health insurance coverage or update your existing policy through the Health Insurance Marketplace implemented under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Our health insurance navigators are ready to provide free help to find the best plan for you.

Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, more people qualify for help purchasing quality health coverage. 

More people continue to qualify for financial assistance at HealthCare.gov. People will be able to find more affordable health insurance plans that can help cover things like doctor visits, preventive services, prescription drugs, and more.

If you have looked for health coverage before, it is worth a second look!

4 out of 5 customers will be able to find a plan for $10/month or less after subsidies. With the new law, millions of people will continue to qualify for tax credits that lower their premiums. 

The Marketplace Open Enrollment at HealthCare.gov runs from November 1, 2022 to January 15, 2023.

Consumers must enroll by December 15th in order to have coverage that starts on January 1st.

Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy health insurance navigators provide free, unbiased, and objective advice to residents of Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Union Counties about their health care options. Navigators can help families and individuals enroll in Marketplace plans under the ACA.


Our federally-certified navigators are extensively trained in the insurance plan options offered by the Marketplace, in addition to the financial assistance that is available to help individuals and families better afford their health insurance.
