Preparing For a New Time Card System
|
Soon we will be launching a time-tracking system called Attendance on Demand (AOD). This system will replace Timeout, track your time worked, allow you to check your time off balances, and more. AOD also has a mobile app, which will be really convenient for those of you on the move.
The rollout of this system is currently in the test phase, and potential bugs are being identified and addressed by our test users. While we are still working to finalize the system based on this test phase feedback, we wanted to start introducing you to parts of the system now so you can be better prepared for when this goes live agency-wide.
Don't fear, more training and information will be shared as we move closer to full-scale implementation.

ESS Mobile App
Our IT team has already installed the ESS Mobile app on your phone, and you may have recently seen the app icon appear on your home screen. The first time you open the app, it will ask you for your Badge and your Password. You will get that information in an email soon. The other important information it will ask you is the server name, which is healthwestmuskegon. You will only have to put these three pieces of information in once.
| |
|
Punching In and Out
Every time you open your ESS Mobile App the app's home screen (shown in the image below on the left) shows up. If you are just starting work for the day, it will give you the option to PUNCH IN. If have already punched in for the day, it'll give you the option to PUNCH OUT. After you PUNCH IN or PUNCH OUT, the second image below shows up. At this point, you can add any important notes that your supervisor should know (such as why you were late for your shift, why you worked late or any other important info) and then tap SAVE at the bottom of the screen.
| |
Transfer
On the home screen of the app is a button for TRANSFER. When you tap the button, it will take you to the Transfer screen. To select the appropriate cost center, click the down arrow and it will allow you to select the appropriate cost center (shown on the right here). All you need to do is scroll through the options, select the one that applies to you and then tap DONE.
This will help ensure that your work is being billed to the appropriate funding source and help better document our efforts during grant reports.

|
|
Main Menu
On the home screen, you can access an additional menu by tapping the "Hamburger Menu" at the top (the three horizontal lines). After doing so, a menu will slide out where you can check any open items (such as missed punches), a calendar showing what you have worked, and your time off balances.

CARF Survey is Coming Soon

Our CARF Survey is coming in the next couple of months. CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) commits us to the quality care we serve daily.

- Consumer Feedback
Although we do not know the exact day of the audit, we will receive 30 days' notice and we expect it to be sometime in March or April. Matt Plaska will be giving us updates during each staff meeting leading up to the survey and we will send out communications when needed.
