In Case You Missed It...
Last week, we were honoured to have Special Olympics pioneer and founder Dr. Frank Hayden join us for episode 18 of From the Stands with host Ryan Colpitts - Special Olympics Ontario athlete and staff member.

Dr. Frank Hayden spoke about his most memorable experiences with Special Olympics, sharing some great stories of all the fun he has had along the way.
Please note: From the Stands will be taking a short break in programming. Stay tuned for future episodes, and thank you to everyone that has tuned in so far!
Calendar of Virtual Events
Have you been visiting the Healthy @ Home Virtual Calendar to check out what other fun, creative, and interactive online events are happening across North America?

Don't forget that our friends at Special Olympics Alberta are challenging all athletes to connect through social media. This is the last week that athletes are encouraged to participate by posting a photo or a video of the theme outlined in the calendar below. Tag your friends, coaches, @SpecialOAlberta and @SOOntario so we can share our ways of how we are all staying positive!

This week's challenge: Share what you love about your family 💗
Are you a Special Olympics athlete, parent or guardian? Special Olympics Ontario is interested in learning about your experiences accessing food to better support our health programming.
Attention Athletes: In order for you to fill out the survey, your parent/guardian/caregiver will first need to fill it out for you. You will then be sent an email with a link to fill out the survey.
Website Maintenance
We will be working on web maintenance for ALL Special Olympics Ontario, Torch Run Ontario and Healthy at Home websites on the morning of Wednesday, September 2 . Please be advised that during this time you may experience intermittent disruptions and websites will be down while we are working on the maintenance.
