A self-scoring Health Risk Assessment gives employees a snapshot of their current health and indicates if they are at Low, Moderate, or High Risk for developing health problems. New Shingles Vaccine
For older adults, QualChoice now covers the new shingles vaccine, Shingrix. The CDC recommends that healthy adults ages 50 and older get the Shingrix vaccine, which provides more protection than Zostavax. The vaccine is given in two doses, 2 to 6 months apart. Zostavax is still in use for some people ages 60 and older.
Breast Cancer Screening Reminder
All women age 50 and older should get a mammogram to screen for breast cancer at least once every two years. Some women should start getting mammograms at age 40. Learn more.
