New Year and New Beginnings

Happy New Year from Healthy Native Youth! We hope you were able to rest over the winter break and reboot! With a new year brings new beginnings – an opportunity to plan for adolescent health education programming in 2025.

This month’s newsletter spotlights a comprehensive sexual health curriculum for Native teens, tools for educators & parents, plus teaching resources for schools and communities. Gear up and Go for it!

Need some inspiration? Hear from high school students who attended the NW NARCH Research Academy kick-off in Portland last summer. Participants built connections with Indigenous researchers, learned about relatable Indigenous public health topics, and are working on a community-based research project to finish the program.
