MENTAL FLEX
Fear and anxiety are common responses to uncertainty, feelings of isolation and disrupted daily routines, and can become overwhelming. However, if we take proactive steps to remain healthy, safe, and connected with one another we will be able to better manage our emotions and to re-establish a sense of security. So, as we all come to terms with the challenges we are experiencing, remember that providing support to our loved ones is crucial more now than ever.

This year’s award recipients are the Planning Department for their intentionality in making health equity the forefront of the General Plan and other development projects, Guadalupe Galindo and Caterina Marji for their outstanding achievements within Community Champions and Youth Leaders, and the Girl Scout Troop #14934 for their commitment to fostering kindness through their community garden. Congratulations to our awardees!

Check out the newly installed Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations located at City Hall and Central Park. The chargers at City Hall were upgraded and Central Park is the newest city facility outfitted with EV Chargers. The City of Rancho Cucamonga adopted an EV Readiness Plan last year and this upgrade is one example of the
community improvements. We are also working towards encouraging multi-family complexes, workplaces, and destinations (such as markets and hotels) to install EV Chargers. These amenities make it that much easier to transition to an electric vehicle as primary source of transportation. Be sure to check out the new EV Chargers and see you on the road to sustainability!
