UPCOMING EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS

TEEN MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Healthy RC participated in several mental health fairs hosted by the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, offering vital mental health resources and opportunities for teens to get involved. Students voiced the need for tools to boost confidence, manage time, and balance school and life, while also stressing the importance of building stronger connections.

In addition to engaging with staff, students left encouraging notes for their peers with affirmations such as, "You matter," "Don't give up," and "Take care of your friends and others."

Healthy RC staff will continue attending these events throughout the month, supporting students in fostering positive mental health, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues, and improving access to resources.

SUCCESSFUL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY

Healthy RC and the Community Champions partnered with Banyan Elementary for an exciting and impactful Walk to School Day! Healthy RC provided valuable resources on community engagement and highlighted the Safe Routes to School initiative, helping students and families stay informed about pedestrian, bicyclist, and traffic safety.

The day was made even more memorable with fun giveaways alongside educational materials, creating an event that was both enjoyable and informative. It provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community and promote the health and safety of our students.
