17th Annual Dog Days 5K Run/Walk
Saturday, August 6
The “Dog Days” 5K honors the heat and humidity of summer and over the years, the Rotary Club of East Cobb has donated more than $500,000 from race proceeds to local and international service projects. The 17th running of “Dog Days” will welcome participants – young/old, runners/non-runners, local/ worldwide – who band together to raise money for local Cobb charities.
Our centrally-located start/finish point – McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA – ensures a fast, smooth run through the East Cobb streets and our tech race shirts are ideal for either running races or running errands.
We’ll have bounce houses for the kids and plenty of food and fluids for all entrants, plus lots of awards and a cool, commemorative 17th Annual Dog Days shirt!
-
Fee by July 31: $30
-
Fee after July 31: $35
-
Phantom Runner Fee: $35 If you are unable to run, but want to support this event, please register as a "phantom" runner. Shirt will be mailed to you after the race.

The Summit Family YMCA wants to thank our friends at the Coweta Public Library System for coming out and reading to our younger members! We had so much fun and can't wait for the next reading time.
You can join us too, on Mondays in July at 10 am in the swim lobby.
