Hear from Our Long Time Volunteer Rita!
Meet our volunteer Rita Lyell! Rita has been volunteering at The Dignity Center since her retirement in 2007. From answering phone calls and scheduling appointments to helping distribute basic resources to participants, Rita helps out with a little bit of everything! We have been especially grateful for Rita during the pandemic when we’ve had to operate with less volunteers.

“...nothing has changed for the people that are in need, just because we've had a virus... People are still needing a job, they're still needing to have a safe place to sleep at night. They're looking to get their lives back on track. Whatever their needs are, that hasn't changed. It's actually increased because places where they used to be able to count on things are all closed down.”

We so appreciate Rita and all of our volunteers who keep us going. We couldn't do this work without you!

Reflections from Our Church Partners
"God is up to something in our neighborhood through the Dignity Center"

We have amazing partners, both churches and community groups. Click the video to hear directly from one of our partners from St Mark's Episcopal Cathedral!
Our partners support us in several different ways. Community and church partners collaborate with us on local services projects, providing volunteers, holding drives to collect in-kind donations and financial contributions.
