Judge Brett Kavanaugh Receives Support
from State and Local Lawmakers
ALEC Action distributed a coalition letter to state and local lawmakers for signatures. The letter asked the U.S. Senate to swiftly confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court. 375 officials representing 48 states signed, and it was sent to Senate offices last week as the Judiciary Committee hearings began.

According to an agenda from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley's (R-IA) office, the committee will hold a business meeting tomorrow, September 13, where approximately two dozen judicial nominations may receive a vote, including Judge Kavanaugh. If approved out of committee, Judge Kavanaugh will face a vote by the full Senate and, hopefully, be confirmed by October 1 to start when the high court begins its next term.

Confidential Memo Reveals Leftist Media Strategy
A confidential, 49-page memo detailing a four year plan to target conservative media has been acquired and released by the Washington Free Beacon .

Created by Media Matters for America, the document is a playbook for how liberal organizations plan to stifle and discredit "toxic" conservative voices and help Democrats regain power in 2020.

From partnering with social media companies to destroy conservative "propaganda" to deploying "truth squads," the document is disconcertingly authoritarian in its wording.

The goal of this campaign is described on page two; the impeachment of President Trump, the resignation of his allies and a transfer of legislative power to the Democrat party.
