One of wonderful teachings of Yungdrung Bön is the 43 Guiding Principles of the Mind of Enlightenment. These 43 Guiding Principles were composed by His Holiness, the late Sherab Gong Gyal, the 22nd sMenri Trizin.

During his time as the spiritual head of Bön, he composed these 43 Guiding Principles based on the teachings of Tonpa Shenrab, great masters and his masters’ teaching.

To reach the state of the Mind of Enlightenment, we need to go through a gradual practice of awareness, experience and mindfulness to awaken our mind to the realization of the Mind of Enlightenment.

Now during this difficult time globally, people are under the pressure of fear, anger, hate. These pressures are caused by the energy of the five poisons.

Each morning at 7:00 a.m. Central time for 43 days, Monday through Friday. Not on weekends. Rinpoche will give a live talk on each of the 43 Guiding Principles.

Loving Mother

Weekly series of teachings via
Live Stream with
Retreat in the fall.

OM SA HA RI NI MA WA MA DE MA HI MO HA E MA HO
MA YE RU PA YE TA DU DU SOHA

Rinpoche's short description video: HEART DROP

This teaching of the Heart Drop of Chamma is a very powerful teaching, that connects every part of your body with each manifestation of Chamma.

This unique teaching is a direct Nyen Gyud (aural transmission, or direct private transmission from the master to the ear of the student) given by
Khandro Sherap Lo Phelma to Sonam Lodro Rinpoche, the 22nd sMenri Trizin.

Yum Chen Sherab Chamma (The Great Wisdom Loving Mother) is known as the Mother of all Enlightened Ones and the source of all love, wisdom
and compassion.

She has many manifestations. She appears often in her Dzog Ku form, the body of perfection.

Chamma is available to everyone for comfort, guidance and healing. She has the power to dispel all obstacles, such as fear, sickness, sadness, and
the negative impact of demonic forces.

Chamma is the heart of Bön. By Her blessing and outpouring of energies, she eliminates all karmic obstacles. She heals, blesses and guides us.

For this teaching, Rinpoche has chosen to use the Heart Drop of Jamma ~ Loving Mother book, translated by Raven Cypress Wood.

The Sacred Mystery of Khyung Mar ~
Red Garuda
Drubpa Retreat

October 6th - 11th, 2020
Yeru Retreat Center

Live Stream session and
Online Course

The Khyung Mar ~ Red Garuda is truly a powerful teaching and practice. Many students and practitioners use it to heal themselves and others, and to transform their negativities into wisdom. The Khyung Mar has many levels, and Rinpoche wants us to be able to go deeper into the powerful teachings of the Khyung Mar ~ Red Garuda.

Our group has experienced practitioners, as well as some who are new to the Kyung Mar ~ Red Garuda practice. Rinpoche believes we are at a good point to stabilize and deepen our practice. And yes, this means hard, individual, inner work, in a supportive group, under the supervision of a superb teacher.

Rinpoche is requesting a formal Khyung Mar ~ Red Garuda Drubpa practice retreat. To emphasize the seriousness of this practice, we will establish the sacred boundary when we begin, and respect the boundary until we end the retreat. During this Khyung Mar~Red Garuda Drubpa there will be fewer formal “lectures.” Rinpoche will guide students in their practice, hold informal talks, and spend more focused time with each student, meeting them at their level to help them improve their practice. This is an authentic and effective way for students to deepen their practice.

During this intense practice, students may experience the signs that they are achieving the stages of Khyung Mar practice. Rinpoche will discuss the signs with students and help them understand their individual practice based on their own realization of the signs of achievement. Students will also get a great hands-on education by both making and performing tsoks and being involved in the rituals.

The online course is set up for you to work at your own pace.

There is so much to this Retreat, Live Stream and Online course:

The Precious Jewel
Part 2 of 3

Santa Fe
October 23 - 25, 2020

From the Yor Me A-tri of Dzogchen, by Tsen Dhen Yorpo Mepal, (1134- 1168)

The Precious Jewel is an ancient Bön teaching of Dzogchen, according to the A-tri Transmission, one of three main Dzogchen Lineages of Bön.

This teaching is from the original text of Yor Me A-tri. This chapter of the Precious Jewel has eight sessions of Dzogchen teachings.  This is part 2 of 3 of Rinpoche’s Precious Jewel Santa Fe teachings.

This teaching is perfect for anyone genuinely seeking to learn Dzogchen and to develop a true deep understanding of Dzogchen and its practice.

This session of the Precious Jewel has three main categories: The Basic, Actual and Conclusion.

First Part: Guides us to understand the importance of devotion and direct experiential contact to the Master Teacher.  Receiving blessings for spiritual awaking and for building a good, solid foundation to further develop your meditation and inner peace of mind and body.
(If you missed the first part of the Precious Jewel Teaching, you can purchase Part 1 from our doortobon.org site.)
Second Part:  October 23-25th, 2020 Will teach us how our relative mind can learn to concentrate and to focus deeply so that we may experience calm abiding. This second part will also introduce our natural state of mind and the reality of truth of all existing phenomenon according to Dzogchen.

Third Part: Will teach us how to develop different labels of meditation. You will develop superior meditation skills: “Jog-Shig-Kyong sum”

  • Jog– How to remain in [Contemplation,]
  • Shig– [Releasing meditation] any time of need to with no attachment,
  • Kyong Sum- To remain in meditation continually for any time, any where, in any circumstances .

Of course, this teaching of the Precious Jewel mainly focuses on teaching us to deepen our understanding and to give us a clear understanding on the Dzogchen’s view and its Trekchod and Togal meditation.

The Eight Brothers of Zambala

Bring Prosperity and Health
Into Our Lives

November 6 – 8, 2020
Yeru Retreat Center

Murig Nyima Kunchap Rinpoche returns to Yeru Bön Center to teach the Eight Brothers of Zambala. This is going to be an exciting teaching on the God of Wealth, Arya Zambala and his 8 brothers (Ched Gyed).

The purpose of this teaching is to learn how to summon many kinds of fortune we need for ourselves and others in our lives. This will include cultivating well-being for ourselves and others, as well as learning to develop a successful spiritual practice.

GesheLa will show us how to perform Yang Drup rituals to reinforce and to increase well-being and prosperity.

Yang Drup means to have prosperity and good fortune. Wealth, harmony, positive relationships, merit, health and positive opportunities.

These rituals strengthen the force of personal good fortune and good luck by both requesting the assistance of a wealth deity and by calling back any of this energetic force that might have become separated from the individual.

During this retreat, we will also include the making of wealth vases for students to bring back home with them.

Barle Khenpo Geshe Nyima Kunchap Rinpoche's  is a senior Bön master.

He received his Geshe degree from Menri Monastery in Dolanji, India, the mother monastery of the Bön worldwide. Trained in many Bön practices at a young age, Rinpoche is known as the master of Bön rituals, and has taught and performed Bön rituals around the world.

Geshe Murig Nyima Kunchap is also the founder of Dolpo Bön Society and Nepal Bön Religion Association.

Barle Khenpo Nyima Kunchap Rinpoche always brings a wonderful and new insight of how beautiful the Bon practice is and every Bon Ritual has brought powerful energy to all in attendance.

This will be a special event. Definitely early registration is highly recommended, especially if you want a specific housing option.

The third and final series of Five Elements teaching with Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche

The first year Rinpoche taught about the general aspects of each of the five elements and how each of the elements correlates with our body organs. He taught the students the hand gestures for each of the elements.

Last year, Rinpoche taught the students the energy, the essence of the corresponding Khadros for each of the elements, recitations and connecting through gestures and meditation. He talked about the essence form of each of the elements and how they correlate with organs, our mind and body.

This year, Rinpoche will take his students to a more advanced deeper level of the Five Elements. Teaching the students how to connect and experience the most subtle energy needed to essentialize each of the elements, creating a single essence as the tigle or dot of clear light, opening space for healing.

Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Space all have a role within our lives: Our environment, home, work, health and mind. Yungdrung Bon’s five elements teaching believe balancing the five elements within our lives creates a healthier environment. Producing calm, peace, better health, and mental clarity.

This next level advanced teaching of the Five Elements will show you the element’s most subtle energies, and importantly, how each element in the deeper level corresponds to your five wisdoms and practicing seriously its nature ~ your “La” – chi, “Tse” – life force, and “Sem” – mind. This powerful teaching of this ancient practice will show you how to create and replace anger, confusion, sadness, ill health with calm, peace, clarity, good health, good environment health.

You will be asked to think on how you see your life, what physical and mental struggles you may have.

This will be the final teaching of the Five Elements series done here in Costa Rica. Learning to essentialize all the elements into their most subtle form to exchange the negative into a positive form of being within your life, your health and your environment. This powerful teaching of this ancient 18,000 year Yungdrung Bon practice will give you a deep seeded gift to help not only you, but for physician, care takers, healers and more.
