Join Us for Cub Quest Weekends: March 28 & May 30

Cub Quest is an advancement-focused Saturday packed with fun and engaging activities for Cub Scouts at Camp Tahuaya in Belton, TX! Scouts will rotate through three program sessions, giving them the opportunity to earn up to three Adventure Loops or Pins. Meal service will be available for purchase, and every Cub Quest weekends will also feature optional, non-advancement activities Saturday evening and Sunday morning for even more fun. Overnight accommodations are available for those who want to extend the experience. Participants may attend as a Pack, a Den, or as individual families. Click below to learn more.

Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) Training & PLC Training

When: March 14-15, 2026

Where: Camp Tahuaya (2603 Tahuaya Dr, Belton, TX 76513)

Why: To train new Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, SPLs, ASPLs and Patrol Leaders in how to conduct ILST and PLCs with their Troops.



Cost will be $20 and there will be training materials and food for the weekend. Documents used during the training will be resources for you to take back to your troops to use for planning at the troop level.

Wood Badge at Philmont – Registration is Open! 

Join this national Wood Badge course sponsored by Longhorn Council at Philmont Scout Ranch. Train alongside Scouters from around the globe and grow your leadership impact. The purpose of Wood Badge is simple: to strengthen units by developing skilled leaders.

As Baden-Powell said, it’s about thinking deeply about Scouting, sharing experiences, and living the Scout Oath together.

All participants must complete the Annual Health & Medical Record (Parts A, B, C) and meet Philmont medical requirements. This is not a trek.
