Packet Pickup:
  • Friday, February 14th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Run Wild Missoula (basement of Runner's Edge)
  • Consider picking up your packet on Friday afternoon and avoid the rush on race morning
  • Be sure to check out the Runner's Edge's annual winter sale while picking up your packet. There will be deep discounts on select winter apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 - 9:45 AM at the race start (Silver Park)
  • Packet Pickup will end promptly at 9:45 AM on race morning. We will not be able to provide you a bib number after 9:45 AM.

Weather:
  • Race morning weather is expected to be in the upper 20s with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of snow
  • The National Weather Service forecast can be found HERE
  • Please remember, this race takes place in Montana in February. What does that mean? You never know what kind of weather we're going to have or what the weather will decide to drop on the trails as it passes through (snow, sleet, rain, etc.). Be prepared for potentially slippery surfaces, potholes (watch for puddles!), uneven surfaces, and loose sand and gravel.

Parking:
  • We always encourage carpooling!
  • There is limited parking available at Silver Park
  • Additional parking is available along Wyoming Street/Cregg Lane and at McCormick Park

Toilets:
  • Porta-Potties will be available near the start line.
  • Please allow enough time to get through the line before the race starts

Dogs & Strollers:
  • As with all Run Wild Missoula races, dogs are not permitted in this event.
  • Strollers are welcome; but, we do ask that you start near the back of the pack and be especially cautious when maneuvering around fellow runners and walkers.

Be Social!
  • Don't forget to share your race day photos on social media!
  • Use the hashtag #HeartThrob5K and tag @runwildmissoula
We are looking forward to getting our hearts beating, squashing the winter doldrums, and celebrating National Heart Month with you on Saturday!
