Mother Cabrini ardently desired to bring the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to the world. Her “daughters” belonged to him as she did and only He could say what was best for them. Jesus made Frances Cabrini aware of her responsibility as Mother and Leader. She felt herself to be a carrier of the message of love that God had entrusted to her. She proclaimed with her life and her works the marvels of God’s love for a humanity that was thirsty for light, hope, justice and peace.  

In the United States, the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart brought a ray of hope and a visible witness of the love of God to the souls who had fallen away from faith and had become indifferent to it. Although far from their home in Codogno, Italy, Mother Cabrini and her sisters were never far from the Heart of Jesus.
The 4th Annual
Day of Giving
will be held on the
Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Friday, June 11, 2021
The Shrine’s Day of Giving is an online fundraising campaign conducted for 24 hours inviting us to be inspired by the loving Heart of Jesus to bring love, courage and compassion to others.

All funds raised will go toward the reinvigoration and enhancement of Faith Formation Programming.

Specifically, in the spirit of Mother Cabrini, the Shrine is offering to those less fortunate in our local parishes: pilgrimages, private tours, masses in their own language, and hospitality. As Mother Cabrini protected the vulnerable, marginalized and immigrant, we feel an important responsibility in welcoming these parishioners to the Shrine.

Support the Missionary Sisters in their mission and their true love for serving others through the Heart of Jesus.

Mass Celebration at the Shrine

4:00 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate The Feast Day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. During Mass, our Missionary Sisters will renew their vows.

Together, they commit to living Mother Cabrini's passion by staying deeply rooted in their love for the Heart of Jesus through prayer, discipleship and spreading devotion to the Heart of Jesus by means of their practice of spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
