The Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club has announced the return of the Heart of the Hills 5k/10k Walk/Run. We are honored that they have expanded their scope to share proceeds with Bloomfield Township Senior Services. This wonderful community event will support local children and older adults.

Registration for the race or walk is $40. Bloomfield Township Senior Services members and volunteers may designate $10 of the fee for services to older adults in need. Select: BTSS Member Registration. Registration includes a medal and t-shirt.

Many instructors are back in the fitness studio including Dondra Elie, Donna Tomassi, Karen Lutz, Han Hoon Wang, Lea Madjoff, Lola Faleix, Mari Ann Pace and Maggie Barclay. Ernie Thomas and Marcy Berlin return to the pool deck too.

There are 26 land classes to try such as Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, HIIT, Barre, Zumba, LaBlast, Strength & Balance and various seated classes. There are 10 programs in the pool including Aqua Resistance, Bootcamp, Water Walking, Endurance & Core and Lap Swim.

Unlimited use of the 42 strength and cardio machines Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM – 3 PM. Registration required by month $20 or half month $10 options. Walking track use included.
