IWA Gala & Auction: Olé Madrid

2025 Gala Co-Chair

As a proud graduate of Incarnate Word Academy, I’ve carried the lessons, friendships, and memories I built there close to my heart. I still remember the joy of Big Sister/Little Sister Day, the energy of Falcon Fest, and the camaraderie of Red Check Day.

Fast forward 27 years, and I now have the joy of watching my oldest daughter, Olivia, thrive as a second-year student at IWA. It’s incredible to see the same transformative experiences shaping her intellectual growth, moral integrity, and personal development.

2025 Gala Co-Chair

IWA remains a strong, supportive community and a foundation for preparing young women to meet the challenges of the world. But none of this is possible without the support of people like you—our cherished alumnae.

That’s why I’m personally inviting you to join us at this year’s IWA Gala & Auction: Olé Madrid on Saturday, April 26, 2025. It’s an evening to reconnect, celebrate, and give back to the school that shaped us into the women we are today. Your support helps ensure we can continue to provide this transformative experience to current and future students!

If you’re unable to attend in person, there are still so many ways to support:

  • Monetary Donations: Support the gala with a cash donation that directly benefits our fundraising goals.
  • Spread the Word: Share this Save the Date with friends, family, and your network to help us reach more supporters.

Let’s show current students the power of the Incarnate Word Academy alumnae network. Together, we can continue building a brighter future for generations of young women.

I hope to see you there or feel your support from afar!

Warm regards,

Monica Ciatto Montemayor

Alumnae Spotlight – Ariel Brown '15

Ariel Brown, a graduate of the Class of 2015, is a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist committed to ensuring patients receive safe and accurate prescriptions for healthier lives. She attributes much of her success to the education and experiences she gained at Incarnate Word Academy, which instilled in her a strong work ethic that continues to guide her today.

Her dedication to helping underserved communities was deeply influenced by IWA’s community service initiatives and theological teachings. Through her time at the Academy, she strengthened her faith in God and developed resilience, shaping her into a committed and compassionate professional.

The unwavering sisterhood Ariel found at IWA showed her the true power of a strong support system, ultimately inspiring her to become a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is truly grateful to Incarnate Word Academy for cultivating her academic excellence and fostering her spiritual and personal development.
