Erin Gonzales, a graduate of the Class of 2018, serves as a Policy Analyst for Texas State Senator, Carol Alvarado. In her role, she oversees and advises the Senator on key issues, including but not limited to economic development, local government, and transportation policy. She also works on community engagement and constituent services for the residents of Senate District 6.
During the 89th Legislative Session, Erin had the honor of meeting with Incarnate Word Sisters at the Texas Capitol to discuss their legislative priorities. This was especially meaningful, as Erin strives to keep her faith at the center of her work. Connecting with a congregation whose mission closely aligns with her values was a powerful reminder of how faith and service intersect in her professional life.
Her time at Incarnate Word Academy not only prepared her academically but also instilled in her a deep commitment to service and faith. The Academy’s academic expectations and emphasis on knowing Christ have been guiding principles that have remained with her throughout her college years and in her professional life.
She finds it deeply rewarding that her work enables her to give back to the community, grow in her faith, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
