It's the season of being thankful, and Hearts to Homes has a lot to be thankful for. There is nothing that we are more grateful for than
you
!
We appreciate that you have helped to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young adults. You know that you are helping someone who was once like you - taking a leap of faith into a life of independence - but
without the same family support system
that you probably had. You count your blessings, and then share a blessing with someone else through us.
Hearts to Homes is setting our sights on strategic partnerships with organizations whose missions align with ours, allowing us to offer additional services and items to our recipients, and to stretch every dollar you donate as far as it can go. We are working hard to provide the same level of "no waiting lists" support to our ten existing foster care partners, but we struggle with the knowledge that we are not yet able to help every young adult aging out of care in NYC. There are over a dozen additional foster care agencies, who provide critical foster care services to New York City youth, that we do not presently have the funding to support.
We are thankful that you have shared your heart with these young adults. We would be grateful if you would continue to share your blessings with the next young adult who is referred for help from Hearts to Homes. There is a never-ending supply of need. We appreciate how you have filled that need with joy!
