Hebron Happenings!

Village of Hebron Community Newsletter

August 2026

As summer winds down, August brings a new rhythm to the Village of Hebron. School is back in session, fall sports are underway at Canal and Evans Park, and our community is settling into a new season. It’s a time to enjoy the last days of summer while looking ahead to all that fall has to offer, hopefully with a little less rain!

This month also reminded us of the strength of our community.

Following last week’s flooding, neighbors, local churches, businesses, organizations, and volunteers came together to provide supplies, meals, cleanup assistance, and support to those affected.

As we welcome fall, we are grateful for the people who continue to make Hebron a strong, caring, and connected community. Here’s to a great school year, a wonderful fall season ahead, and time to spend together over PIE!

Celebrating America 250 in the Buckeye Lake Region

The Buckeye Lake Region came together to celebrate America 250 with a special parade honoring our local First Responders and Veterans. With the support of Matesich Distributing, communities throughout the region had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate those who have served and continue to serve our communities and country.

The Hebron Police Department, West Licking Fire Department - Hebron Branch, American Legion Post 285, and First Responders, Veterans, and community organizations from surrounding villages were invited to participate in the celebration and help welcome the Budweiser Clydesdales to Buckeye Lake.

It was a wonderful evening of community, patriotism, and appreciation for those who serve.

Missed them yesterday?

They will be in Downtown Newark tonight starting at 6:00PM

Business Spotlight!

This month, we’re excited to recognize OH Golf Carts as our August Business Spotlight!

Located at 130 W. Main Street, OH Golf Carts offers LSV street-legal golf carts, golf trailers, and more, helping customers find the right cart for both everyday transportation and recreation.

We’re excited to hear that they are growing their operations and will soon be expanding into more of their site to provide golf cart service and maintenance.

Thank you for being an important part of the Hebron business community! Be sure to support local and check them out.
