CYBER.ORG

Helix Aviation Academy will ensure that students gain foundational and general technical skills required in any Cybersecurity job. CYBER.ORG is a National k-12 curriculum launched in 2012 after a workforce need was identified in 2007 by the Cyber Innovation Center. It provides hands-on professional development, curricula, programs, and competitions to engage students in cybersecurity, computer science, and STEM disciplines. |

Traveling by air can shed up to 1.5 L of water from the body during an average 3 hour flight. Extended periods of flying can deplete the body of water so be sure to bring bottled water onto flights that are 3 hours or longer in duration. |

Ears pop because as the plane climbs and the atmosphere outside becomes thinner, the cabin is artificially pressurised to a level that is different from the atmospheric pressure we are accustomed to on the ground. Air trapped in our bodies at standard atmospheric pressure, such as that in the twisting Eustachian tubes that link our middle ears to our mouths and nose, starts to expand. |

Sir Isaac Newton’s three laws of motion will help you understand more about how planes move through the air. They explain forces that result in movement, lack of movement, and acceleration. While discovered back in the seventeenth century, these laws are fundamental to our understanding of flight today.

On Tuesday, 11/17/20, a few of our Helix Community School Members visited the Dream Center at Healing Place Church to share information about our schools and programs, but to also inspire, encourage, and motivate students to persevere and excel to the highest. |

They will be special because they will be our first graduating class in May of 2028 as we reach our full range of being the first K - 12 Aviation Academy in the country located on an airport.
