The event, which was held at Elm Grove Baptist Church, was attended by faculty and staff, students and special guests including Mayor Sharon Weston Broome, Metro Councilwoman Carolyn Coleman and State Sen. Cleo Fields. Rev. Dr. Errol Domingue served as the keynote speaker and there were performances by the Mentorship Marching Band and the Mentorship Waves Choir.
