I have relocated with my son to Topeka, Kansas where I am working a day job I love, have made lots of new friends, and am VERY HAPPY. I am currently renting a house for a year while I get things organized and save up the down payment for a house to own (all my savings [and more] got eaten by the relocation). I HAVE AN OFFICE AGAIN. Real, actual, dedicated space to business and writing. WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!
THE RESCUE is with the editor. Because of my mistakes it got delayed. It will come out eventually, but I screwed up. (Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa).
THE GINGERBREAD MAN (tentative title) is the next Celia Graves novel. I am 1/3 of the way through the first draft. I have no idea if the editor will like it. All I can do is put forth the best book I possibly can and send it through beta readers and a private editor to make sure it is really, truly ready for Melissa. Which I will do. Once I finish. Which may be sooner than later because it is (please don’t let me jinx it) going very well.
But I (still) need encouragement. I got some serious hate mail after the last book in the Celia series. And between that and all the time that’s passed, I want to know that you still want to read what I have to say. I will be doing more fantasy, and paranormal. But I also keep having mysteries and thrillers (hence A.S. James) pop into my head.
