What's Happening at ISD Oneonta?
- Tonight, Thursday September 16th, 5:30pm-7pm is Part 1 of the two part class, History and Science of Spiritual Healing. Details on the class below in the Adult Education section. This is a required class for our ISD Healing Certification program. Find details on the Certification Program Here

We will be POOLSIDE in the good weather, bring your suit if you’d like, and a dish to pass if possible. Susquehanna River Renewal Kayak Trip w/Kimberly
Join a collaborative, co-creative effort to make amends for past wrongs, to give thanks and to connect with other high powers and intentions doing the same.
Calling kayakers who resonate with earth-keeping and who love spiritual/healing work to join us for a special opportunity on Goodyear lake, to enter a prayerful space and to do something to make a difference!
Come play, bring your kayak/canoe or rent one!
Rain or shine event time is Sept 18, 10am-12pm at Sillmans Cove on back side of Goodyear lake. We will gather briefly there on land and paddle to the center of the lake for the ceremony.
Advance registration is required, cut off for registration is Sept 12th. This is a free event.

A required class for the ISD Oneonta Healing Certification Program
Part I is presented by JoAnn Wormuth. From medicine man to priest-healers, she will introduce us to colorful spiritual healers, healing cults & their methods & beliefs about healing, through pre-historic times to ancient Greece.
In Part II, Diana Friedell reviews research that proves the existence of the energy body & the efficacy of energy healing and which hospitals offer it as a treatment modality.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST (Sept 16-24)
The week begins with a continuation of the caution of last week. Friday features three squares among the planets. This presents challenges, restrictions that it may be wise
not to push against. The sacred geometric wheel is always turning. There are no squares to deal with after this. As the wheel turns toward the Full Moon on Monday, Sept 20th the star patterns offer more benefic trines and sextiles. This presents you with opportunity and easy luck.
The Harvest Full Moon is at 7:54 pm on Monday evening EDT. The moonrise is at 7:13 pm. This will make for a really spectacular visual. The moon being almost Full as it is rising, as well as the typical orange color will be one of those times when spirit is able to settle into the physical body more easily. The Autumnal Equinox is a powerful, sacred cycle on the Earth. In some ways it is the culmination of the efforts of the year. The time of harvest is in the ninth month, the end of the numerical cycle. Glory in this time. Harvest all the most hopeful, loving accomplishments of your year. Gently free what no longer serves. This "harvest" theme is especially strong this year as it's also the end of the first decade after the 2012 Galactic alignment of the Milky Way Galaxy with the Great Central Sun.
This Full Moon features a day when 3 of the 4 Points of Avatar are active. They are the points in Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio where particularly potent portals to the Cosmos become open and activated. The planets are Venus/Scorpio, Saturn/Aquarius, and Uranus/Taurus. The ability to join head and heart will be especially assisted on this Full Moon.
The Fall Equinox corresponds with the Sun's passage into Libra on Wednesday. The Sun in Libra enhances harmony, justice, the ultimate fair balancing of all things. Libra is perhaps the place where Divine Grace is most available to be embodied. Libra is also an Air sign. The Air element is free, forward reaching.
This week, this season asks you to "reach for the Stars." I wish you Godspeed everyone.

Just a reminder that we are continuing our Prayer Warriors group, every day at 5pm we pause to pray and send our healing energies where they are most needed right now
Each day at 5 PM EST, we will pause for about 10 minutes and meditate and pray with the intention of sending healing energy to all.
You do not have to be present each day. Requests for healing or suggestions should be submitted to our Healing Program director, Jo Ann Wormuth at the below ISD website link:
