  • Navigate to the "Other Orders" tab.
  • A list of previous orders will populate including the Follow-Up order.

Coming Soon: Exciting QGenda Enhancements!

The Epic Together Team continues to refine QGenda for easy access to on-call schedules! Scroll through the upcoming enhancements below to see what's coming!

All Sites: Provide links to Hospitalist and Intensivist schedule in the main QGenda landing page under each hospital’s landing page avoiding the need to navigate to the separate landing page for those services:

All Sites: Change the Emergency Medicine / Hospitalists Medicine schedule title to: “Emergency/Hospitalist/Critical Care Medicine:”

CBMC: Remove the “CBMC ICU” schedule, as those providers are now listed under the EM/HM/Intensivists schedule:

MMC: Pediatric Urology and Pediatric Surgery will be moved under “Pediatrics:”

NBIMC: All pediatric-related schedules will be moved under “Pediatrics:”

RWJUH: Move RWJ New Brunswick Hospital schedule to “Hospital” list, rather than under “Service Line:”

Ambulatory Providers:

Log into the Correct Department in Epic

Selecting the correct department is so important in Hyperspace!

  • In Epic, you must select a login department after entering your User ID and Password.
  • Important: Logging into the wrong department may prevent access to needed documentation tools.
  • Logging into the right department ensures access to specialty specific tools such as:
  • Flowsheets
  • Preference Lists (Orders, Medications, History, Problem List)
  • Navigators
  • In addition, logging into the correct department positively affects accurate billing.
  • Ensure you are selecting the correct department in this field:
  • If you work in multiple departments, toggle over to the Recent tab after clicking the magnifying glass (or pressing F5) -- This avoids you having to type the department information, saving you time!
