A gathering place for all...
a place of abundance and belonging...
10 August 2022
We are busy making plans for all sorts of exciting events for our 60th anniversary next year... plans include several special Home Coming activities. Stay tuned...
It's hard to believe that we are more than halfway through summer 2022. A few days ago we bade a fond farewell to last of the hundreds of guests who gathered here for the "four weeks of summer" (read about it on our blog). Next week we welcome the excitement of two weeks of NimbleFingers workshops and musicians. See below... you won't want to miss the festival!

We look towards an exciting and dynamic autumn of programs and events here at Sorrento Centre. Grab your calendar and start making plans to join us this fall.
Were you here this summer? Please review your photo reel and share with us some of your favourite photos and videos of your recent visit here. Whether you were on a course, or retreat, or music workshops or... YOU COULD IN A FREE VEST - enter our photo contest!
JOIN US on August 20th

Come dance barefoot in the grass, enjoy terrific music and food! For 32 years now, music lovers have travelled from far and wide to attend this small but mighty bluegrass festival.

This family event features two stages throughout the day, food & artisan vendors, a beer garden, and a quick walk to the lake.

Get to know the Faces of Sorrento Centre
As we approach our 60th Anniversary, we want you to get to know some of the people who shine their unique light and contribute to making Sorrento Centre the special place it is.

Don't forget to share these with your friends and family....
Colour Colour Colour
Time spent working with colour will give you the confidence to create, select and use colour in your designs in a whole new way, with the added bonus of designing your own original artwork. Students are welcome to approach this workshop as a series of samples and explorations or work with intention towards a goal. More information>>
Salute to the Sockeye
Every fall, the typically calm waters of the Adams River turn red as sockeye salmon ‘run’ upstream, back to their birthplaces to spawn. This year it's predicted that 7 to 14 million salmon will return. It is a sight to behold.. More information>>
