Committed understanding by leadership of the rules of controlling static electricity and how to properly use ESD control items will lead to an effective and sustainable ESD programme from management to operator level. Focused training and certification are key components to achieving a successful ESD programme.

The Standard for ESD Control

IEC 61340-5-1 is the Standard used by companies all over Europe for guidance in implementing, verifying, and maintaining high quality ESD Control Programmes. Desco Europe is offering a training course that is targeted for ESD professionals who would like to gain an understanding of the basic purpose and details of the IEC 61340-5-1 standard. This course will be particularly helpful to those who are new to the implementation and management of an ESD Programme of any size or any scope, no matter how deep your involvement is in the ESD Programme.
